The Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Southern Nevada Action Plan is a community-driven initiative led by the RTC to reduce traffic deaths and serious injuries across Clark County. Through public engagement, data-driven strategies, and infrastructure improvements, this plan will identify and implement solutions to make roadways safer for all users—drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders alike.
Over the next year, the RTC will gather public input through surveys, walk audits, and demonstration projects while working closely with stakeholders to develop policy and design changes that prioritize safety and equity.
Together, we can create a future with zero traffic fatalities in Southern Nevada.

Traffic crashes are a growing crisis in Southern Nevada, putting lives at risk every day. The Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Southern Nevada Action Plan is a community-driven effort to make our roads safer for everyone—drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit riders.
Without intervention, serious injury and fatal crashes will continue to rise. The RTC’s SS4A Southern Nevada Action Plan is designed to be the catalyst for change—using data, community input, and policy recommendations to create a safer, more livable Southern Nevada for all.
Crashes and fatalities continue to increase, impacting families and communities across the region.
Pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorcyclists face disproportionate dangers on our streets.
Nationwide, 43,230 people die in crashes annually—the equivalent of a 737-jetliner crashing every day—yet these tragedies are often accepted as inevitable.
Many roadways were not built with safety for all users in mind, and data-driven improvements are necessary to protect lives.
Change requires public support and coordination across all seven Southern Nevada jurisdictions to create safer, more livable communities.
